The Technique
What Makes a Fade a Fade
A fade is a blend, not just a short haircut. The guard length changes gradually from the bottom of the sides up to the top, so there's no visible line where one length stops and the next starts. That blend is the hardest part to get right, and it's the whole reason a fade takes longer than a straight buzz cut — every pass with the clippers has to line up with the one before it.

Skin Fade, Taper Fade, or Razor Fade
Skin Fade
The sides and back go all the way down to bare skin before blending into the top. The cleanest, sharpest look, and it works on any hair type.
Taper Fade
Blends high to low without going bare skin anywhere. Lower maintenance than a skin fade and grows out a little more gracefully.
Razor Fade
Finished with a straight razor instead of clippers alone, for the crispest possible line at the edge. A popular pick before a big event.

A Basic Haircut is $40 and takes 35 min. A Full Service Haircut & Beard is $50 and takes 50 min. An After Hours appointment, booked any time of day or night, is $100 for 60 min. Those are the full prices with no separate line-up or shop fee.
How often do I need to get my fade redone?
Most clients rebook every 2 to 3 weeks to keep the blend sharp before it grows out and softens. Book the same Basic Haircut or Full Service each time — there's no separate touch-up price.
What haircut and beard styles does Die4Fadez Barbershop do?
Any style is covered under the same Basic Haircut or Full Service price — skin fades, taper fades, temple fades, bald fades, razor fades, buzz cuts, crew cuts, flat tops, undercuts, high-and-tight, mohawks, afros, long-hair cuts, classic cuts, businessman's cuts, scissor cuts, texturizing, and clipper cuts, plus shape-ups, edge-ups, and line-ups between full cuts. Freestyle hair designs are included too — a Small Design for a simple shaved line or shape, or a Big Design for a larger, more detailed pattern (see The Work section for examples) — along with eyebrow trims. Full Service adds beard trims and shaping, straight razor shaves, neck shaves, head shaves, and mustache trims. Kids and senior citizens book the same slots at the same price.
